Hamzeh Law is committed to staffing your case with the appropriate number of the finest attorneys to efficiently, yet, effectively handle your case based upon its complexities and needs. In addition, if your case involves complicated legal issues in specialized practice areas, we are able to consult with specialized counsel with whom we have previously worked and, if necessary, can associate them into a case to assure that you receive the best representation possible at all times. As such, no case is too complicated or large for us to handle.
Mr. Hamzeh is the principal of the firm. He has been practicing law for over nineteen years and has a broad range of experience in a multitude of practice areas. He has handled cases from inception through appeal in state and federal courts. Mr. Hamzeh believes strongly in lawsuit prevention and has often counseled clients to
diffuse or settle conflicts prior to having them result in unnecessary litigation. “Most attorneys are happy to exasperate a conflict with the hopes of starting litigation so they can line their pockets with their client’s hard earned money. This self-motivated behavior is unethical and contrary to the client’s best interests. In reality, manyconflicts can be resolved through aggressive, yet reasonable, negotiation. But if your case does require litigation, we aggressively prepare a detailed strategy with the mind set of going to trial. I relish the opportunity to present a case before a judge or jury.“
Mr. Hamzeh has repeatedly devised trial strategies at the outset of cases and produced either favorable settlements or verdicts. Mr. Hamzeh’s practice areas include trusts, conservatorships, guardianships, probate administration and litigation and complex business litigation, consisting of breach of contract, fraud, employment, entertainment, intellectual property and products liability as well as civil rights and personal injury. Mr. Hamzeh views each case as though it were his own and invites his clients to contact him any time they have questions or concerns.
Mr. Hamzeh graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor of science in Criminology, Law and Society and a minor in Political Science in 1997. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in 2000. There, he received an academic scholarship, was on the dean’s list and belonged to the prestigious St. Thomas More Honor Society. Mr. Hamzeh also externed with Ninth Circuit Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the United States Court of Appeals and with the California Attorney General’s Office, Health, Education & Welfare Department. Mr. Hamzeh also was a summer associate at the worldwide firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker.
Mr. Hamzeh spent the first three years of his practice at the national firm of Quinn, Emanuel, Urquhart, Oliver and Hedges, LLP, wherein he received extensive trial training and superior legal experience. Thereafter, Mr. Hamzeh spent the next three years serving as general counsel for a client he brought in while at Quinn Emanuel, a multi-million dollar software company, Tri Pole Corp. Mr. Hamzeh handled several multi-million dollar cases for his client, including sitting second chair in a nine-day trial resulting in an unanimous defense jury verdict for his client. In addition, Mr. Hamzeh was extensively involved in a case in which his client recovered a $20 million dollar verdict against one of the world’s largest software companies. In preparation to opening his own firm, Mr. Hamzeh worked at a medium sized firm specializing in business litigation as well.
